COMMUNITY SHRED DAY AND E-WASTE RECYCLING
WHEATLAND (IOWA) Local businesses will offer a free Community Shred Day on Friday, June 19, from 10 am to 1 pm in the First Trust and Savings Bank parking lot in Wheatland.
The event offers a safe and secure way to dispose of sensitive documents, helping protect against identity theft while reducing paper waste. Community members may bring up to 10 bags (grocery sack) or boxes (banker’s box) of documents to be shredded at no charge. Staples, paper clips, hanging file folders, and manila folders are all accepted; however, three-ring binders cannot be processed.
The Community Shred Day is made possible thanks to the generous support of F&B Communications, First Trust and Savings Bank, and Petersen Insurance Company, Inc.
