Features
F&B does
more than offer quality local phone service. There are many calling
features that customers can opt to add to their line. Call
or stop in the business office today in Wheatland to sign-up for
a convenient calling feature. There is a $10 setup fee to add a
feature.
Some
features can be controlled from your phone, for instructions on
using a particular feature, click the name of the feature.
Call
Waiting (no monthly charge)
This
feature allows you to talk on the phone whenever you want without
having to worry about missing important calls. You will hear
a brief tone signaling another incoming call. You also have
the option of canceling this feature from your own phone so
your don't have to worry about being interrupted during an important
call.
GROUP
1
Anonymous
Call Rejection ($1.50/month)
When you’ve turned this service “on” any callers
who have blocked their number from your Caller ID display will hear
an announcement that you do not accept anonymous calls-and they
should remove Blocking and call back. All other calls will ring
through as usual.
Automatic
Recall ($1.50/month)
Dial *69 and you will hear a message telling you the number of the
last incoming call, along with the time and date of call.
Call
Forward All ($1.50/month)
Have all of your calls forwarded to wherever you are, so you don't
have to stay at home to wait for that important call you're expecting.
You can have calls forwarded to any number that you enter. Calls
will bypass your line and ring at the programmed number. You can
activate/deactivate this feature at any time.
Call
Forward Busy ($1.50/month)
Automatically have your calls forwarded to another phone number
if your line is busy. You won't miss important calls just because
you are on the line. This feature can be activated/deactivated by
entering a special code.
Call
Forward No Answer ($1.50/month)
Forwards your calls to another telephone number only after a specified
number of rings and there is no answer. This feature can be activated/deactivated
by entering a special code.
Call
Forward Fixed Destination ($1.50/month)
Have calls forwarded to a fixed number. You have no special codes
to enter, the telephone company takes care of the programming for
you.
Call
Waiting ID ($1.50/month)
It's like call waiting, but you can see who's trying to get a hold
of you when you are on the line with another person. The name and
number of the person trying to call you will be displayed on a special
Caller ID unit located next to your phone. With this feature, you
can decide whether the incoming call is worth disrupting your current
call.
Speed
30 Number Calling ($1.50/month)
Store up to 30 of your most frequently dialed numbers and access
them just by dialing a two-digit code from your touch tone phone.
It's a real time saver.
3-Way
Calling ($1.50/month)
Talk to two different people at the same time. This feature also
has the ability to place one or both calls on hold.
User
Transfer ($1.50/month)
Transfer an established call to another line. The transferring party
is then billed for charges. This feature required 3-Way Calling.

2
Per
Call One Plus Blocking ($3.00/month)
This toll blocking service allows a subscriber to restrict the use
of their phone for long distance calls. A person knowing the correct
4-digit PIN can only place toll calls.
Bulk
One Plus Blocking ($3.00/month)
This toll blocking features allows the subscriber to control the
calling of toll numbers dialed from their phone. Using a PIN, the
subscriber can allow (turn on) or block (turn off) toll calling.
900
Block Control ($3.00/month)
This 900 blocking feature allows a subscriber to control the calling
of 900 numbers dialed from his/her phone. The subscriber uses a
PIN (Personal Identification Number) to control the availability
of 900 dialing.
Call
Forward Remote Access ($3.00/month)
Activate call forward features from a phone line other than the
station from which calls are being forwarded. Subscribers will be
given a PIN and a special phone number to activate/deactivate call
forward from a remote location.
Selective
Call Acceptance ($3.00/month)
Allows you to screen incoming calls by creating a list of phone
numbers from which you are willing to accept calls. Calls from phone
numbers not contained on your list will hear a recording that says
you are not receiving calls at this time. A voice-activated menu
assists you in turning this feature on/off and updating your list.
Selective
Call Forward ($3.00/month)
Allows you to create a list of numbers that are to be forwarded
when they call you. When you activate this service, and a call arrives
from a phone number that is on your list, the call is forwarded.
All other calls will ring your phone in the normal fashion. Your
most important calls can be forwarded to a number where they can
be answered, meaning you can leave your home or office and still
receive urgent calls.
Selective
Call Rejection ($3.00/month)
Allows you to create a list of phone numbers from which you do not
wish to receive calls. Calls from phone numbers on your list are
sent to an announcement that informs the caller you are not receiving
calls at this time.
Selective
Distinctive Ring ($3.00/month)
Hear a distinct ring when people entered in your selected ring list
call you. This helps you identify special and important calls. You
can update your list by using a voice-activated menu when you dial
a special code.

Smart Telemarketer Call Screening
intercepts calls, announces that you do not accept calls from telemarketers
and instructs them to add you to their “Do Not Call”

ID Name and Number ($3.95/month)
Know the
name and number of the person calling before you pickup the phone.
Caller ID lets you screen calls and keep a record of the date, time,
name and number of all calls received on your line.
Specific
Ring - Teen Number ($4.50/month)
With this feature
you will be able to tell if a call is for you, or if someone is
trying to reach your teenager. Your teen will have their own number
and when their number is called you will hear a distinctive ring
from your phone. You don't even need a second line, but your line
will be tied up during the conversation.

To figure your discount, total the cost of your selected features
and refer the chart below to see what price you will pay each month.
For example, if you choose Call Forward All at $1.50 and Call Forward
Remote Access at $3.00, your total cost is $4.50. With the multiple
feature discount, you save $1.50, paying only $3.00 for both features
monthly.
